The peels used are from the Pure Glycolic range, are paraben free AND do not test on animals :)

You should not undergo a AHA 40 40% Glycolic Skin Peel if you have any of the below contraindications:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Taken Roaccutane in the last 6 months
• Undergoing Dermabrasion (to the face)
• Undergoing Lasertreatments (to the face)
• Broken skin cannot be treated
• Sunburn
• Eczema/psoriasis (to the face)
• Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
• Active Herpes

• Skin may feel drier or tighter – this is quite normal. Apply the  epiderma5 daily balm (£30)
• Do not use sunbeds, sunbathe, sauna or steam bath for 7 days after a peel.
• Always use recommended sun protection (epiderma 5 Daily defense moisturizer recommended - £30)
• Avoid electrolysis, waxing, bleaching of the face for 7 days
• Do not swim in chlorinated water for 3-5 days
• No exsessive exercise immediately after treatment
• Makeup can be applied, mineral is recommended.

With all facial treatments it is important to understand that aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself. You must use advised products to ensure your skin is protected after any facial treatment.

SPF MUST be worn after your chemical peel treatment to avoid further damage to your skin. It is important you follow a good cleanse and tone and moisturise regime so as not to reverse the effects of your treatment. Aftercare is sold separately.
